Dr. RAMA KRISHNA CHAVA

Rama Krishna Chava obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Acharya Nagarjuna University (India) in 2005 and 2007 respectively, and completed his Ph.D. at Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2012. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, he joined Prof. Yeon-Tae Yu’s group at Chonbuk National University (South Korea) in 2014, and then moved to Prof. Misook Kang’s group at Yeungnam University (South Korea) in 2016. Currently he is working as International Research Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry, Yeungnam University. His current research interests focus on the synthesis of 1D and 2D nanomaterials and their hybrid composites for applications in gas sensors, green energy, optoelectronic devices, catalysis and solar energy conversion; as well as controlled synthesis, characterization and applications of novel metal and semiconducting metal oxide core-shell nanoparticles.
